Fourth of July

My sister-in-law came down for a few days and was able to spend the fourth with Charles, Emma and I. We went to the annual City of Richardson fireworks show. So many people attend each year that they have a shuttle system that takes people to and from their cars... we decided this was a great idea until the end of the evening. We quickly realized that everyone else was shuttled to the park and there were a sea of thousands waiting for a ride after the show. So we decided to make the 3 1/2 mile walk at 10:30 pm. Quite the adventure with an 18 month old!
